The Kawasakis continue to lead the field at Brno, with Broc Parkes of the Provec Motocard.com team taking provisional pole after the first session of qualifying for the World Supersport class. In contrast to this morning, the Kawasakis have been joined by a gaggle of Hondas, Step Racing's Gino Rea and Hannspree Ten Kate's Fabien Foret between Parkes and his teammate David Salom. Parkalgar Honda's Sam Lowes heads up the provisional second row in 5th, finishing ahead of Massimo Roccoli and Robbin Harms. After dominating the early rounds of World Supersport, the Yamahas have struggled at Brno, Luca Scassa and Chaz Davies down in 9th and 10th, and behind the Bike Service Yamaha of Roberto Tamburini.
The final grid will be settled after the second session of qualifying on Saturday afternoon.
