Ducati's traditional launch of their MotoGP campaign, at the annual Wrooom! event at the Italian ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio was rather like a wedding without a bride this year. The star of the show is normally this year's MotoGP machine, but the Herculean efforts being undertaken by Ducati Corse to build their radically revised GP12 meant that the bike was not ready to be unveiled in public.
The international press' loss was the internet's gain, and in a move which is becoming ever more common, the Ducati team and their sponsors have realized that they can bypass the media and reach motorcycle racing fans directly, by launching the 2012 bike and livery online. The launch is to be held on Monday, March 19th at 1pm CET, and streamed live on the Facebook page of Italian Telecom giant TIM. Factory Ducati riders Nicky Hayden and Valentino Rossi will unveil the colors they will be defending in 2012, and will also respond to selected questions submitted by fans. You can submit your questions for the Ducati riders via the TIM Facebook page.
