Power Electronics, a Spanish manufacturer of electrical equipment based in Valencia, is to be the new sponsor of the Aspar team's MotoGP project, the team announced today. Spanish insurer Mapfre is to continue as the Moto2 sponsor, while Bankia, a Spanish bank, will fund the team's Moto3 effort. Today was the official announcement of the signing of an agreement between the multinational company Power Electronics and Jorge Martinez Aspar's team in an event that was attended by the company's president, Mr. Abelardo Salvo Babiloni and the vice-presidents Mr. Amadeo Salvo, Mr. Lalo Salvo and Mr. David Salvo, as well as Mr. Jorge Martínez Aspar, the general manager of the Aspar MotoGP team, and MotoGP pilot Aleix Espargaró.
